How does the King Soopers card work and the benefits
You may think when you buy a King Soopers card from the club that is it.  Oh no, there  is much more.
  • You buy the card for $25 from the club.
  • The card number is tied to Denver Lions so the club receives benefits
  • You use the card to buy groceries and gas from King Soopers.
  • You do not just use the card for $25, you keep it and reload.
  • When the card amount you reload the card with any amount you want
    • Reloading the card can be done at the cashier with a credit card.
    • Then use and reload as many times you like.
Now here is the amazing benefits.
  • When you reload the King Soopers card with a credit card that has rewards you get those points
  • When you use the King Soopers card you gain gas points.  Yes you can use the card at the King Soopers gas pumps.
  • Finally the big payoff – Denver Lions gets 5% of your purchases.
We have 10 members using the King Soopers card and the club has gained thousands of dollars.

In summary your win with credit card rewards and King Soopers gas points.  The club receives a rebate from King Soopers.

The King Soopers cards make a great Christmas Gift.  You can buy the card from the Club for $25 and if you want to increase the amount you reload at the store.  Once again you have all the benefits.  While the card says King Soopers it is good at any Kroger store nationwide.

Finally, to make if easy you can charge the $25 to your Club account and it will be billed with your quarterly dues.

Buy your cards now.  See Lion Susy Osorio-Kinsky for your cards.
Needed Team Leader for Lion Speech Contest
The Denver Lions have not participated in the Lions Speech Contest for a while.   This is a worthwhile experience for the students and the Club.  We need a Lion to lead this program.  It will not take a lot of work.  The topic is chosen by LCI.  We work with the high school speech / debate teachers who judge their students speeches. We have the contact information.  The speech team will make the awards to the winners at the high school.  The high school winners will come to a Denver Lion Club meeting to speak.  The Lions at the meeting will judge the speakers and make the cash awards.   The winner of our club will go on to the district and state conventions. The work will start in January.    The Denver Lions Foundation is funding this program.  Contact Lion Fletcher Brown   C/T 303.619.8486   brownsinco@gmail.com
