More from the 2017 Centennial Conventon.
More photographs from the 2017 Lions State Convention.
We had a great convention with the help from the Denver Lions, the host club.  The goals of the convention were:  Fellowship, Learning, Service, Interactive and Fun.  We exceeded all our goals.

Past International President (PIP) Joe Preston gave a rousing speech which included a song he composed.

We elected the new CO State Leadership.  From right to left:  Steve Kinsky (6C) Joe Ballagh (6W), Debbie Day (6NE), PIP Joe Preston, Rick Calhoun (6SE) Dennis Pulley (Council Chair)

We had Learning Breakout Session with topics Lions can use to help their clubs.  Denver Lions Chris Dirgo and Dwight Steen presented two topics.   Chris on Social Media and Dwight on Lion History.  Both sessions were well attended.  Thanks to Chris and Dwight for help at the convention.

One of the service projects was Hunger.  Each district collected food which was put into sculptures to compete between districts.  NE won for the most creative.   Covenant Cupboard Food Bank and the people they serve were the real winners.

Members of our new Leo club attended and accepted their new club banner.  Also Leo Ethan Schwartz was our convention photographer.

We had a speech contest between four very impressive young people.

We ended the meeting convention with laughter.  Brad Montgomery (center) , comedian, magician, and motivational speaker, had us all laughing so hard. A great way to end the convention with a lot of Fun.
